Four-year Objectives By July 2011, 85 percent of all students taking the FCAT Reading test at Lake Como Elementary will score at level 3 or above.

Elementary will make learning gains.

By July 2011, 70 percent of all students taking the FCAT Reading test at Lake Como
Elementary will make learning gains with the lowest 25% of students.
2007-08
Needs Statement:

In June 2007, 67 percent of all students taking the FCAT Reading test at Lake Como Elementary School scored at Level 3 or above on FCAT reading, a decrease of 1 point. Needs assessment data indicated a need for better primary assessments.

In June 2007, 52 percent of students at Lake Como Elementary School made learning gains in reading, a decrease of 12 points.

In June 2007, 50 percent of the lowest 25 percent of students taking the FCAT Reading test at Lake Como Elementary School made learning gains, an increase of 3 points.

Annual Objective:

By July 2008, 72 percent of all students taking the FCAT Reading test at Lake Como Elementary School will score at Level 3 or above.

By July 2008, 57 percent of all students taking the FCAT Reading test at Lake Como Elementary School will make learning gains.

By July 2008, 55 percent of the lowest 25 percent of all students taking the FCAT Reading test at Lake Como Elementary School will make learning gains.

2007-08 Needs Statement:

In June 2007, 60 percent of students at Lake Como Elementary School scored at Level 3 or above on FCAT Math, a decrease of 7 points. Teachers reported a need for mathematics staff development.

In June 2007, 59 percent of students at Lake Como Elementary School made learning gains in FCAT Math, an increase of 3 points.

In June 2007, 63 percent of the lowest 25 percent of students taking the FCAT Math test at Lake Como Elementary School made learning gains in FCAT Math, an increase of 18 points.

2007-08 Annual Objectives: By July 2008, 65 percent of all students taking the FCAT Math test at Lake Como Elementary School will score at Level 3 or above.

By July 2008, 62 percent of all students taking the FCAT Math test at Lake Como Elementary School will make learning gains.
